Are there any conditions in which I shouldn't having waxing services? To ensure a successful waxing experience, please read and follow these instructions. WARNING: Waxing is never done on clients taking Accutane and is not recommended for clients taking Retin A, Renova, Differin or other types of skin thinning acne medications. Please read the label carefully and consult your dermatologist if you are taking any medication or using any topical cream that contains these medications. You must be off acne medication treatment a minimum of 1 year prior to waxing. If you take blood-thinners, have diabetes, phlebitis or want post-cancer hair growth in the side-burn area removed, you must get your doctor’s approval. You should not get waxed if you are undergoing cancer therapy (chemotherapy, radiation, etc.). Waxing should not be performed on those with lupus, AIDS, or any other condition which compromises the skin barrier. If you’re a smoker or have rosacea, waxing can irritate dilated capillaries and you may want to avoid waxing those areas. If you have other prescriptions or conditions not listed on this sheet which you are unsure of, consult your doctor before waxing. CAUTION: Please inform your technician if any of the following applies to you as your skin may be more sensitive. Thin, delicate skin is vulnerable to lifting and sensitivity during waxing. A patch test may be best to see how your skin reacts for 24 hours before waxing. Bleaching agents, chemical depilatories (Nair), Benzoyl Peroxide (ProActive) Alpha Hydroxy Acids (Glycolic, Lactic), Salicylic Acid, Antibiotics (Oral or Topical), Retinol, birth control, hormone replacement therapy, other exfoliants If you are pregnant Recent consumption of stimulants (caffeine, alcohol, etc.) Extra sensitivity may be experienced up to a week prior to the beginning of menstrual cycle PRECAUTIONS & CONSIDERATIONS: Please keep the following items in mind. The following items/conditions cannot be waxed: Sunburns, irritation or areas with open skin or rashes, moles, pimples, cold sores, warts, recent scar tissue or skin grafts, the inside of ears or nose, eyelashes, nipples, male genitalia or body piercings You must wait at least 24 hours for waxing after the following: Use of a sun/tanning bed/booth (2-3 days for waxing after tanning with accelerators) Previous waxing in the same area(s) Consult your doctor for waxing after: A light chemical peel or microdermabrasion, Botox or collagen injections, laser skin resurfacing, physician administered peel AFTERCARE: Please read these valuable guidelines. Avoid touching freshly waxed skin as it can cause irritation or small pimples If irritation occurs, use an antibiotic ointment such as Neosporin to keep the area continually moist to avoid infection and scabbing For at least 24 (and up to 72) hours after a waxing treatment, extra precautions should be taken if using the following: Hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, abrasives, deodorant (following underarm waxing), sun/tanning beds/booths, or use of tanning accelerators, lotion/moisturizers, makeup Bikini Area Waxing: Tight panties should be avoided as well as lace or unbreathable materials; plain cotton underwear is best Sexual activity should also be avoided for at least 24-48 hours Avoid shaving between waxes; shaving causes hairs to become very coarse and difficult to wax Keep the waxed area clean, but do not use harsh cleansers or creams for 24 hours Cool temperature showers or baths are okay 2 days after waxing it is recommended to use an exfoliating glove in the shower to prevent ingrown hairs or bumps

What is a Lash Lift & Tint?Lash Lift is a procedure that replaces outdated techniques, like lash perming, with a new and healthier alternative to traditional lash extensions. This method involves using silicone pads to create the desired curl to your lashes instead of perm rods in order to lift up, separate, and lengthen the look of your natural lashes. Lash lifts give you an attractive, brighter, and wide-eyed look which can last for up to 8 to 12 weeks. When including the Lash Tint, a darker tint is applied during the lash lift treatment in order to make your eyelashes darker and stand out more. The procedure is not painful though if you do feel a sting in your eye from the product let your technician know. Also you may notice your eyes watering a bit after the procedure. You will need to keep your eyes closed to let the technician work and give you bright-eyed looks. The entire procedure may take as long as 45 to 60 minutes so it is okay to feel a bit strange to open your eyes after the lash lifting/tinting. Lash Lift is a totally safe procedure and it does not damage your natural lashes in any way. It involves using specially shaped silicone pads to gently lift and curl your eyelashes which is safer than other techniques. Also, by having an experienced and skilled professional perform the procedure you will ensure that you get the best results.

What is the aftercare for a Lift and/or Tint?LASH LIFT AFTERCARE: The great thing about getting a lash lift is that it's a very low maintenance procedure. However, there is a little extra care required over the first 24-48 hours. -Be gentle with your lashes; no rubbing. -Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hours. -Do not use harsh products on your eyes/lashes. -Use of sauna/steam is possible after 24 hours but may weaken the effect of the lift. -No eye make up for 24 hours. -Avoid waterproof mascaras. -Swimming should be avoided for at least 24 hours. -No other facial beauty treatments for 24 hours. LASH & BROW TINT AFTERCARE: -Do not touch or rub your eyes, lashes, or brows. -Avoid water and steam on the face or near the eyes, lashes or brows for 24 hours. -Do not sleep on your face. -Do not use oil based products or any conditioning treatments/serums on the tinted areas. This will cause the semi-permanent mascara to dissolve faster. -Effects of the tint will start to diminish within 2 to 3 weeks as hair grows out and the tint color fades. -Strong sunlight/UV light can make the tint color fade faster. -Do not apply makeup or mascara to lashes or receive any other eye treatments for at least 24 hours after the lash or brow tinting treatment.

What happens if I'm late for my appointment, or miss an appointment? This depends on how busy the salon schedule is for the day/time of your appointment. Depending on how late, your appointment may have to be shortened or rescheduled so the next client's appointment is not delayed. We understand many unforeseen circumstances may cause occasional lateness and will do our best to accommodate in these situations. Please call us if you are going to be late for your scheduled time. If you are more than 5 minutes late and we have not heard from you, we may attempt to call and confirm you are on your way. If we are unable to get ahold of you we may take the next walk-in which could cause you to lose your appointment. As a sign of respect to other clients as well as our technicians, we ask that you provide 24 hours' notice whenever possible for an appointment cancellation. If you do not call and do not show up for your appointment ("no call, no show"), we reserve the right to add you to our walk-in only client list.
